Designed and manufactured in Italy, this premium replacement air filter is engineered to provide increased airflow while maintaining superior filtration efficiency. It is constructed using multi-layer cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil, which allows a higher volume of clean air to reach the engine compared to conventional paper filters while effectively trapping dust and contaminants. The filter is reinforced with an epoxy-coated alloy mesh, protecting it from fuel vapors, humidity, and oxidation to ensure long-lasting durability even in demanding riding conditions. BMC filters are produced using the brand’s proprietary Full Moulding technology, which forms the filter as a single seamless structure without welded joints, improving strength and reliability. Designed as a direct OEM replacement, the FM947/04B installs directly into the motorcycle’s stock airbox without requiring modifications. The filter is pre-oiled, washable, and reusable, allowing riders to clean and regenerate it using a BMC maintenance kit instead of replacing it frequently—making it a cost-effective and long-lasting performance upgrade.
