RHINOWALK XM10405 BMW Magnetic Tank Bag Mounting Ring

The RHINOWALK XM10405 is a motorcycle-specific magnetic tank bag mounting adapter designed for selected BMW motorcycles. It is part of the RHINOWALK Mechanic Series magnetic luggage system and provides a mounting connection between a compatible tank bag and the motorcycle's fuel-cap area.

The XM10405 configuration combines a magnetic horseshoe adapter with an aluminum alloy mounting ring. The adapter enables compatible RHINOWALK magnetic tank bags to attach through a dedicated fuel-cap mounting arrangement instead of relying on direct magnetic contact with the motorcycle's painted fuel tank.

According to the official manufacturer compatibility chart, the XM10405 supports the BMW R1300GS from 2023 onward and the BMW R1300GS Adventure from 2024 onward. Riders should verify the fuel-cap bolt pattern and motorcycle configuration before installation.

The mounting adapter is intended for use with compatible RHINOWALK Mechanic Series magnetic tank bags. It does not provide luggage storage by itself, and the tank bag must be purchased separately.

After installation, check that the adapter is securely fastened and that the attached tank bag does not interfere with the ignition, steering movement or motorcycle controls. Regularly inspect the mounting hardware before riding.
